- Fall Protection End User Certification 2023-Feb-02
Fall Protection End User for the Workplace. This course is required for anyone working at heights. Certification is valid for 3 years. Course runs from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. - Set Etiquette & Protocol via Zoom 2023-Feb-08
Developed by industry union and taught by industry professionals, this three hour workshop is a must for those considering film and television careers. Workshop will start 12:00 pm and finish at 3:00 pm. Course will cover who reports to whom, do's and don'ts on location and job expectations. - Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift Operator Certification 2023-Feb-08
his training provides a classroom presentation, written test, hands-on practice and skills testing session needed for safe operation of an aerial boom lift and scissor lift. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. Participants must have valid Fall Protection certification and provide the following applicable Personal Protective Equipment: safety glasses, safety boots, safety vest, hard hat, harness & lanyard etc. Registration is through education@iatse212.com. - Inclusive Workplaces for Film and TV Workers 2023-Feb-25
Everyone has the right to work in a psychologically safe work environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment, where people work collaboratively and cross-culturally. This full-day session will deepen film workers' understanding of anti-discrimination, unconscious bias and cultural awareness. Using an OH&S lens, participants will complete the training with a knowledge and understanding of their roles and responsibilities in creating an inclusive workplace.
