Rigging for Stage 2024-May-22
Interested in Ground or High Rigging for stage? This 8 hour workshop is the first step to becoming eligible to be dispatched for high or ground rigger calls with IATSE Local 212. Class will start at 09:00 finishing around 5:00 pm. Workshop will cover basic principles and theory for ground and high riggers as well as safe work practices. Instructors will review personal safety equipment and certification requirements. Hands on practice of basic rigging skills and radio communication/etiquette. Participants must be proficient on the following knots: bowline, figure 8 on a bite and clove hitch.
