Firearm Safety Level One 2024-May-11
Developed and presented by Felcan Enterprises, this 1 day course provides an introduction to Firearm Safety for the entertainment industry. The course will cover safe working practices and legislative requirements, and is of vital importance for those involved in supervising, planning or working on projects involving firearms. Developed by industry union and taught by industry professionals, this three hour workshop is a must for those considering film and television careers. Workshop will start 1:00 pm and finish at 4:00 pm. Course will cover who reports to whom, do's and don'ts on location and job expectations. Safety issues and on-set vocabulary will also be discussed. Rigging for Stage 2024-May-22
Class will start at 09:00 finishing around 5:00 pm. Topics that will be covered; Basic rigging principles and theory for ground and high riggers, safe work practices, review of personal safety equipment and certification requirements.
